This is what a real woman looks like.

Not a stick figure for once on my dashboard.

The media should promote these body types to the world.

This is what I like to see on my dash. This woman is so beautiful, everything about her. She’s not the pencil thin model, whose ribs you can see clearly. She has curves and she has a beauty to her that isn’t forced. This is what traditionally beauty is to me. 60 years ago this woman would’ve probably been a featured model in a men’s magazine. But in the last 50 years, superskinny became the new icon. Not being natural.

Why can’t I look like this?!

CURVES. Fuck yes.

People aren’t always awful. Sometimes, they’re maybe even just a little bit wonderful.

This just gave me a lot of feelings.

I LOVE THE MEN OF TUMBLR OH MY GOD

(via lightwood-mellark)

Let the light shine on my mama. She’s been worried ‘bout me and I can tell she’s tired. Walk my brother in a straight line. Give my dad a little peace and quiet. I can feel the years of hard work in his hands. Make my days pass just a little bit slower I’ve been runnin’ so fast I’ve forgotten who I am. And so I go where the green grass grows. The weeds are high and the sun hangs low. Look to the sky and I say, hello like it’s the very first time. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been. I can talk to God like he’s my best friend. Take my heart lay it down again right there in a dirt road prayer.
